Interlaken - Grosse Scheidegg - Meiringen - Interlaken
For cyclists who love a real mountain challenge, this route is a dream.
We start in Interlaken (or Grindelwald) and climb all the way to Grosse Scheidegg, one of the most beautiful and car-free passes in the Alps. The road winds past waterfalls, forest, and alpine meadows, with the mighty Wetterhorn and Eiger towering above.
After reaching the pass, we descend to Rosenlaui, the most beautiful place in the world and down into Haslital valley toward Meiringen, then return to Interlaken along the turquoise waters of Lake Brienz.
It’s a demanding but unforgettable ride, full of switchbacks, mountain drama, and that unbeatable feeling of riding above the clouds.

Grimsel pass

A mountain classic!
The climb up Grimsel Pass is a steady, rewarding ascent through a surreal landscape of granite walls, turquoise reservoirs, and glacial valleys. With every switchback, the views get bigger, the air cooler, and the feeling of freedom stronger.
Whether we start from Meiringen or Innekirchen, this ride takes us deep into the heart of the Bernese Alps with the option to enjoy a coffee at the top, soak in the lake rocky views and then enjoy a thrilling descent on one of Switzerland’s most scenic mountain roads.

Meiringen - Grimsel - Furka - Susten - meiringen
Three mountain passes. Endless views. One unforgettable day on the bike.
Starting in Meiringen, we climb the steady switchbacks of Grimsel Pass, glide past glacial lakes and towering granite walls, then descend into the Rhône Valley before tackling the legendary Furka Pass with sweeping views over the glacier and into the heart of the Alps.
From there, we cruise down into the Urseren Valley and begin our final ascent: the majestic Susten Pass. The long descent back to Innertkirchen is the perfect reward fast, flowing, and filled with high-alpine magic.
It’s a long day, full of effort and awe. A ride that will stay with you for a long time. On the way there is many points to refill water bottles and also our stomachs.

A long, steady climb into the wild with scenery that builds with every turn of the pedals.
Starting from Meiringen, the road gently winds its way up through deep alpine valleys, waterfalls, and wide-open spaces toward the top of Susten Pass. The further you go, the wilder it feels, glaciers, beautiful rocky or glacier peaks.
At the summit, we take a break to soak in the views before descending back down the same road fast, flowing, and full of joy.

Interlaken - Habkern - Waldegg - Interlaken
A quiet, scenic loop that leads you away from the busy valley into the calm beauty of the hills above Interlaken.
One of my fav loops!
Starting in Interlaken, we ride up toward the peaceful mountain village of Habkern, with views opening toward the Brienzersee and surrounding peaks. From there, a gentle climb and winding road take us toward Waldegg - Beatenberg with little extra uphill for better views.
The descent back toward Interlaken offers wide views and a fun flow. Perfect for a half-day ride with a peaceful vibe.

Interlaken - Habkern - Waldegg - Justital - Sigriswil - Interlaken
A full loop that combines deep alpine valleys, quiet forest roads, open ridge views, and traditional Swiss charm, perfect for riders who love to explore off the beaten path.
We start in Interlaken and climb toward Habkern, winding through meadows and quiet farmland. From Waldegg, we enter the serene and wild Justistal, where the landscape opens up into a hidden valley framed by limestone cliffs and grazing cows. After a peaceful stretch through this magical place, we ride over to Sigriswil, with stunning views over Lake Thun and the Bernese Alps.
The way back toward Interlaken is smooth and scenic, a perfect finish this ride. Optionally with a jump into the lake just before finishing in Interlaken again!

Lauterbrunnen - Isenfluh - Suwald - Interlaken
A peaceful climb, forested silence, and views you’ll carry home with you. My favorite loop after work.
This ride starts in Lauterbrunnen and climbs gently toward Isenfluh, a quiet little mountain village tucked away from the crowds. From there, a smaller road takes us up toward Sulwald, where the views open up to the whole Lauterbrunnen valley.
After soaking in the silence and mountain beauty, we descend back toward the valley, continuing through Zweilütschinen and returning to Interlaken along the Lütschine river. This loop is short, sweet, and stunning, ideal for a half-day escape into alpine calm.

Duration: 3 -4 h
Interlaken - saxeten
A wild, quiet climb into one of the most beautiful and little known valleys above Interlaken.
This route takes us from Interlaken through Wilderswil and steadily uphill into the tucked away village of Saxeten. From there, we continue deeper into the valley beneath the Schwalmere, where the road narrows and the world opens up dramatic cliffs, hidden waterfalls, and absolute stillness.
You’ll ride past farms, forests, and alpine pastures where it feels like time has stopped. The road eventually ends beneath towering peaks, with views that stretch deep into untouched mountain terrain — perfect for a pause, a snack, and a deep breath of alpine air before the smooth descent back down to Interlaken.

A true mountain journey for curious legs!
We start in Interlaken and climb gently toward Habkern, winding through open pastures and forest to reach Beatenberg. From there, we dive into the quiet Justistal, one of the Bernese Oberland’s most peaceful valleys with open alpine terrain, limestone cliffs, and grazing cows all around.
The route continues through Sigriswil, then loops further across balcony roads and local farming paths, weaving through Schwanden, Schwendibach, and Heiligenschwendi offering stunning views of Lake Thun and the surrounding peaks. We finish with a beautiful descent to Gunten, and return to Interlaken along the lakeside road.
This is a full, rewarding day on the bike with wild landscapes, local flavor, and plenty of “wow” moments.

Interlaken - Lombachalp - waldegg - interlaken
A moody alpine escape just above Interlaken, full of forest roads, open moorland, quiet beauty and beautiful mountains!
This loop begins in Interlaken and heads up toward Habkern, with a steady and peaceful climb through the forest. From there, we continue up to the unique landscape of Lombachalp a high plateau with wide open spaces, grazing cows, and a wild, untouched feeling. If we are lucky, we might spot marmots or even ibex along the trail.
After soaking in the views, we descend toward Waldegg, passing dramatic ridgelines and open pastures, before flowing back down to Interlaken.
